Education

The Alberta College of Paramedics is the regulatory body for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), and Emergency Medical Technologist-Paramedics (EMT-P) in Alberta. EMRs, EMTs, and EMT-Ps must hold registration with the College in order to practice in Alberta.

The College does not offer training, but approves programs offered by educational institutions within Alberta.
