The Provincial Registration Exam ensures that all individuals registered as Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), or Emergency Medical Technologist - Paramedics (EMT-P) are professionally competent and have met the entry requirements to practice.
Candidates are evaluated based on their application of knowledge, skills, and judgment. Testing consists of both a written multiple choice and a hands-on practical examination.
To sit any College Provincial Registration Exam, candidates must:

Unless otherwise noted, all written exams take place at Coast Edmonton East Hotel (Directions). All practical exams take place at The King's University College (Directions).
