If you are an EMR graduate of an Alberta College of Paramedics approved educational program, you are eligible to apply for full EMR registration if you meet both the following criteria:
- You have passed all portions of the Provincial Registration Examination within one year of your graduation date, and
- You submit a complete registration application within one year of your graduation date and paid all required fees.
To apply for registration, you must submit a complete application including supporting documentation, and pay the required registration fees. During the College’s transition to the Health Professions Act please access and submit the EMR Registration Package to email@example.com.
As a registered practitioner of the profession, you are subject to continuing competence and registration renewal requirements. You are also required to abide by all legislative and College requirements, policies and standards.
NOTE: While applications can be scanned or faxed to the College, original transcripts must be mailed or brought into the College office. See application for details regarding transcript submission.
If you are currently a PROVISIONAL EMR
If you pass all portions of the Provincial Registration Examination while registered in Alberta as a provisional EMR, your status will be automatically upgraded to full EMR. If you have any questions, please email the College’s Registry Services Department.
