The Alberta College of Paramedics regulates the paramedicine profession in accordance with the Health Professions Act (of Alberta). Read the Act here: Health Professions Act.

All regulated health professions in Alberta are required to create a set of Bylaws, a Code of Ethics and a set of Standards of Practice.
- The Alberta College of Paramedics’ Bylaws outline the framework for operations and management of the College.
- The Code of Ethics outline the professional conduct that is expected of all regulated members of the College.
- The Standards of Practice outline the parameters for appropriate practice of paramedicine in Alberta.
